We believe that communications in the world have undergone a paradigm shift with convergence of voice, video and data.  Not only have these once separate mediums been combined onto the same network, but now we are seeing them integrated into the same hardware/software device and that can now be made smaller, lighter and faster than ever before.

With the billions of dollars that have been spent in research developing new hardware and software driven devices to shave seconds off the end users capability to  communicate effectively, we realized that a mast that could not only shave seconds off a deployment, but minutes would be an invaluable tool to today’s mission critical applications. 

Following this belief, we developed the BlueSky Series II Mast System.   Not only does the mast deliver the speed and portability required of these faster more mobile applications, but also delivers the versatility required to support Video, Voice and Data on the same mast at the same time.

Realizing that today’s mission critical applications required that engineer’s build solutions capable of supporting this new converged architecture, there was no single mast that could be used effectively in the same capacity.  

By utilizing a unique modular design, building standard interfaces into the mast, and designing a full suite of interchangeable accessories, the BlueSky Series II Mast is the only mast that was designed to benefit the engineer by allowing them to design their solution around their true requirements, not around the limitations of a mast. 

We believe that the mast should look and perform like it was custom designed for each application, not like the solution was bolted onto some mast as an after thought. We realize that while the mast may be but a small part of the overall solution, its one of the most visible. The Process of Innovation:

BlueSky products are designed and engineered to maximize four fundamental attributes: Speed, portability, versatility and dependability.Our commitment to constant innovation doesn’t stop at the drawing board. Ever changing client needs demand rapid development of new designs. Utilizing virtual CAD modeling with infinite analysis engineering principles, we can design and build new products fully understanding their capabilities and performance before prototyping. As individual components are designed or modified they can be virtually assembled and tested to determine performance criteria.  

Prototyping: 

Using computer modeling and simulation, physical stresses such as head loads, wind speeds, guy stress and bending moments can be applied to a virtual model utilizing the new design to predict future performance, allowing the various design teams to collaborate much earlier in the development cycle. With a better understanding of the physical requirements, the materials team can now select and engineer the best alloys in advance of physical testing. The material is then developed and ordered while the design is transmitted to the factory, where it is converted to machine code and downloaded to the proper CNC machines for prototyping.

Engineering:

BlueSky employs development teams that have the most current technology in their field to help push through the traditional barriers of innovation. Utilizing virtual design software allows BlueSky to seamlessly integrate new designs with pre-existing products to ensure maximum overall performance. This integration capability allows the design teams to immediately identify and correct design issues that may not be apparent with traditional engineering drawings. This reduction in design time substantially reduces manufacturing costs and permits BlueSky to cost effectively customize our product to specific client needs.
